Our Approach
Redbridge International School has a balanced approach to learning and aims to develop key attitudes and transverse skills supporting students to achieve academic mastery and become fulfilled lifelong learners who contribute to society in a positive way.
At Redbridge International School, our programmes are designed to foster intellectual curiosity, creativity, and autonomy from early years through to secondary education, and we provide our students with an engaging and multicultural educational experience, aligned with the frameworks of national curriculums.
A plurilingual approach in Early Years, following the guidelines proposed by the national french programme
Two international pathways in Primary Years, offering a personalised and trans-disciplinary approach to learning:
- French International Programme, following the French national curriculum (CP to CM2)
- Portuguese International Programme, following the Portuguese national curriculum (1.º to 6.º ano)

Two rigorous international programmes for Secondary School, designed to prepare students for global academic success:
- French International Programme from 6ème to Terminale, following the French curriculum and delivered through a bilingual approach (French/English), leading to Baccalauréat Français International (BFI)
- Cambridge International Education Programme from Year 8 to Year 11, leading to the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (Year 12 and 13, IBDP)
All our students follow the rigorous Cambridge curriculum for English language learning throughout their academic journey, starting from Primary Years.

At Redbridge, we are leveraging synergies between our 2 international education pathways:

A multilingual and multicultural environment with plurilingual students
- International Community with strong links to local communities and Portuguese culture
- Mixing students from both pathways for language lessons, morning meetings, and some specific subjects
