To celebrate our Eco-Month, 5ème students has been thinking of ways in which they can promote a more sustainable environment and, at the same time, involve everyone part of the Redbridge Community – be it students, teaching and non-teaching staff and parents.

With this in mind, we have partnered with Surf Rider Foundation, who organises beach, lakes, and ocean clean-up actions all over the world and created the BEACH CLEAN-UP PROJECT!

Through many classroom discussions, students understood that instead of just being part of the problem, we can all be part of the solution, in an easy and accessible opportunity, whilst having a really good time!

They then divided themselves into 5 different working groups, so that throughout the next 3 weeks they can document their actions, promote it within the wider community and present the final results of the project.

The beach clean-up will take place on Saturday, 11th of February in the morning at the Algés beach. Exact meeting point and time will be informed closer to the date

Can we count on you?
